Registration

If you are deemed eligible to sit for the Board Certification Exam, your demographic data, including a unique ID number, will be sent to Pearson VUE, the test administrators. This information will be sent once per week.

Candidates will be given their ID numbers and are then responsible for registering to take the exam at a Pearson VUE Test Center via phone (preferred) or web. Phone is the recommended method of scheduling as it provides for the most up-to-date information. You will not be required to pay any additional fees, but you may not register with Pearson VUE without prior ABPh approval and authorization. Scheduling instructions will be included in your acceptance letter.

Candidates are strongly urged to register with a Pearson VUE Test Center as soon as they are notified of their eligibility, as there is limited seating at any given test center. The ABPh is not responsible for candidate access to or appointments at Pearson VUE Test Centers. Saturday test center availability is very limited.  Please check with Pearson VUE for specific test center hours and days of operation.

Detailed information about registering for the exam will be provided in each candidate's letter of acceptance from the ABPh.
