Fees

The fee for board certification is $2595 to be included with the application. The total fee includes an application fee of $495 and an examination fee is $2100. The application fee is non-refundable. The exam fee will be refunded if the applicant is deemed ineligible to sit for the exam. If applicant is eligible but cancels on or before April 13, 2008, the exam fee is refundable. Cancellations after that date, including failure to appear, will result in an additional $500 fee, and the balance of the exam fee will be refunded. Candidates may petition the Board regarding this fee if there are special circumstances.

Additional documentation may be required, depending on the applicant’s circumstances and prior experience.

Fees may be paid using check (made payable to American Board of Phlebology) or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or AMEX).
