About Board Certification

The American Board of Phlebology offers certification in the specialty of phlebology. Certification demonstrates that physicians have met rigorous standards of education, experience, and evaluation. In order to become a Board Certified, a phlebologist must:

• Complete the requisite training or experience qualifications
• Meet the continuing medical education requisites
• Pass a certification examination
