Length of Certification

After passing the written examination, a physician will be awarded a certificate acknowledging that he or she has met specific standards and qualifications and has passed the examination conducted by the Board. The certificate is a ten-year, time-limited certificate, subject to the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program requirements.
